tire grooving

I see how you cut them to have opposing patterns.  Let us know if either one works out better than the other…. I’ve thought about doing similar to some for grip testing… great post!

Curious -  @NA73 did you do the two patterns as a test or...? I'm guessing you will get a different grip... look forward to hearing your impressions on which works better...

I actually messed up when I started the 2nd tire and just continued the pattern. which is why the tires are the way they are. both patterns seem to work equally well. I haven't had either tire lose traction or clog up more than the other.

Amazon, Lowes, Walmarts If you want to order a cheap one, An expencieve one you could almost buy two new tires just as cheap. 

I googled it came up with a sharp chisel and a propain torch

I found one on Speedway Motors for around $100.  Made in USA too!
