hodge 6 #1 Posted July 19, 2009 I have a 94 Dodge 2500, and would like to pick up a second set of rims/tires. Does anyone on here know of the top of their head what other manufacturers will fit? I don't think all 8 lugs are the same, but I would imagine that some are. Thanks!
Nick 13 #2 Posted July 19, 2009 You can search local salvage yard for used rims through this site. http://car-part.com/ An older ford might work but I know in 99 Ford 8 lug wheels went to a new bolt pattern.
hodge 6 #3 Posted July 19, 2009 Thanks, Nick. I have this question on a Dodge forum, and just received the info that pre-99 Fords will fit.
Nick 13 #4 Posted July 19, 2009 I thought the Fords might fit but wasnt sure. You might try craigs list for a deal on some used tires/tims. I like to use http://www.searchtempest.com/
KyBlue 655 #5 Posted July 23, 2009 Your dodge is a 8 on 6.5" bolt pattern, the 99 up fords are 8 on 135mm pattern I think... All the 8 lugs are the same, the older ones anyhow, Fords, Chevy's, Dodges,
Kelly 1,033 #6 Posted July 27, 2009 Yes all older ones are the same bolt patern, but the center hole is diff. make sure you check that.
hodge 6 #7 Posted August 2, 2009 Thanks, you guys. As always, a blessing and a wealth of knowledge. Now, to find some, and the money to buy them...
baerpath 517 #8 Posted August 2, 2009 The older Chevy/GMC rims just need the center hole opened up a little to fit. We just used a stone on a drill on ours. Didn't take much. Duane
