peter lena 9,299 #2 Posted November 28, 2022 text for pictures, 1st picture, very delicate fine wire spring to assist choke plate , zero pull , just enough. 2nd picture perforated steel to mount choke and throttle , pull closure springs ,3rd picture added ground cable on top of battery ground cable , going to corner of engine/ frame to insure grounding . 4 th picture standing fuel charge under and on top of fuel check valve to insure a fuel holding point . consistently works , pete
peter lena 9,299 #3 Posted November 29, 2022 @Achto regularly bend / make up wire hooks , for an odd attachment point , like on the choke / throttle cables , that lets me use a smaller spring in a tight spot , also enhanced the cable slide with super lube oil , and any related lever movement point . when you move the choke cable / throttle cable , you are lightly pulling against the spring , it works very smooth / easy. also added a ground lead from the perforated , rectifier , bolt down to my headlights , for solid ground , bright lights . that cable to engine corner / frame , next to clutch pedal , is a solid ground gain . use tig , wire for my spring extensions . just like to make things better , pete 3
peter lena 9,299 #4 Posted December 12, 2022 @Achto , @Cee245, @Jayzauto , when ever I look at an ongoing issue , take advantage of that , it keeps doing the same functional failure . is the connection sloppy ? is it rusty / binding ? found tiny cable end adjustments , / with super lube , to be a great start . another thing , was to regularly add lube to vertical cable slide access, steadily eliminating bind area . my throttle plate spring assist , is very light , thats what makes it so effective , it slightly enhances the plate seal , making it start instantly , my fuel charge is held in place , by the check valve , vertically . 3 of them in place , all work the same way , went after the entire scenario , detailed , what it was SAPOSED to do , added enhanced headlight ground , with opportunity , also enhanced consistent rectifier charging. take advantage of a constant issue , think outside of the box , why not ? my past whining bearing issues , directed me to the combining problems , got tired of it , been there , pete
