Anyone brush or roll paint on frame and transmission?

I see no reason why not, go for it!! A quality brush would be my choice.

Thinking back to my days if tool and die, we brush painted a lot of tooling, dies, and shop components.  It always had a nice glossy finish.

 

This plow was painted with a brush too.  I beat the skin into submission with a hammer before I welded it on, but it came out quite smooth.
