Points gap adjustment

Hello,

 

looking to find out how to set the gap correctly on a 1977 c-120 points.

 

I have a spark plug gap feeler gauge.

Probably the best would be to take a look at this video, presuming that you've got a K 301 on that manchine.

 

 

And follow with this:

Both video's are excellent. I prefer to use the method from the second video known as "static timing". This method has helped me turn "pull your tail off" engines into "one pull wonders".

The keyway on your crankshaft will be at the top when the engine is at TDC.
