Found just the right tool for all those fine adjustments on the Carter carburetors. This makes working on carburetors sooooo much easier. Best money I ever spent.:)

I have a couple tools similar to above, also a fairly large vintage adjustable wrench, and a pair of what I would call water pump pliers or adjustable slide pliers that are absolutely massive. All work well for fine-scale precision work. 

 

 

 

@Mows4three Dave knows a fair amount about tools.

Maybe he would care to comment or advise?

Reminds me of my Walbro carburetor tool. :D Also works for fine tuning Tecumseh's :lol:

I have the Long Handled Walbro Carb Adjusting Tool, in the 8lb variety...... Worx first swing every time!!!
