Dadof2 5 #1 Posted September 29, 2022 (edited) I have at 1971 Raider 10 with a HH100 115145C engine that has stopped running. It had a weak spark and now it has none. I reset the air gap to .007 on the SSI and I am still not getting a spark. I checked for continuity between the grounding lead eyelet and the negative side on the battery as well as the frame and there was continuity. I also checked the ground connection on the SSI to the negative side on the battery and to the frame and there wasn't any continuity. Is there anything else I should be checking? pfrederi 17,027 #2 Posted September 29, 2022 The techumseh manual has no direct test of the SSI. It has you check all other parts of the system..If they are OK it tells you to replace the SSI
