Horse_rebuilder 5 #1 Posted September 15, 2022 So I just bought a new to me 78’ b81 mower with the intentions of turning this one into a race mower, pulley swaps, lowering it, etc. however I need a set of headlights for the thing, I saw that the C101’s with what looks to be the same hood came with headlights from factory, I was wondering if I could just swap the hoods so I can get the headlights on my b81, any thoughts or recommendations? 953 nut 51,630 #4 Posted September 15, 2022 The "B" series was a lawn tractor and though the hoods look similar to the "C" series garden tractor I doubt that the hood would be the same size. That being said, since you are building a race tractor I guess a few modifications to a hood wouldn't be a deal breaker. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

If you are building this tractor to go fast, I suggest putting better lights on it.
