Hey All. I have a 520xi that I bought a couple months ago. I have used it to mow my 4 acres about 7 time with no problems. Yesterday I was about 40 mins into mowing when I disengage my blades to remove a toy that I missed during cleanup from my path. I never shut the mower off, rather I just stopped the blades and throttled back the engine. When I got back on the PTO for the blades wouldn't engage. The light comes on that signals the PTO is engaged but the blades don't spin up. I played with all the controls and pedals and wiggled everything and it finally worked, but not by anything that I could think of. I was merely beating things out of frustration. I finished mowing what I needed to and parked the tractor. Today, I went to finish mowing and and got 1/2 of what I needed done when I had to moved something. Again, I shut the blades down and the same thing happened, only this time I have not been able to get the blades to start back up yet. Just like last time the Blade PTO light comes on, but the blades don't engage. I'm going to be calling the dealer where I purchased it first thing in the morning, but don't know of the help I will get since it was used. Anyone have any idea what might be going on? I'm feeling really frustrated.
