Very nice Wheel Horse RJ58. $850 Not perfect, but really good condition. 3 speed transmission. I haven’t used it in 4 years and it started on the first pull. Good paint, tires are showing their age. Small dents in front of hood. Includes 3 partial mower decks. I was going to make one good mower deck but other projects took precedence. Hate to see to go but it’s time for someone else to enjoy it. Low hour 418-A for sale. Nice tractor, bought it from Spin Jim a few years ago and he really took good care of it. Starts right up and runs great. Rear weights and chains for both wheels go with it. For another $100.00 I'll throw in the 42" snow plow.

Work Horse GT-1142 for sale. Stored indoors, not original paint, w/ 42” rear discharge deck. The deck has had some repairs but is operational. Needs a battery. Motor has an oil leak which led me to park it. I last ran this tractor about 5 years ago and have not touched it since but has since been stored indoors and I had intentions to restore it someday. It has been in my family and passed down since it was bought new. I’d like to free up space now. I’m located in Mineral Springs, PA just off interstate 80 and tractor/deck would have to be picked up. Landscaping changes made this working tractor an inefficient way to cut our lawn. Original owner had removed most WH side badging and added Ferarri stickers. Fired it up yesterday and it drove and mowed. Includes the snow thrower attachment, not pictured, which I have not attempted to install, so belt need replacement and possible missing parts may be issues if you want to chuck snow with it. Please pick up here in Aurora, IL or arrange your own transport. Might deliver locally if it makes sense. Reasonable offers entertained. I have mower deck, rototiller, snow blower, plow, chains and wheelweights. Tractor runs, just mowed the yard with it. Moving, gotta let it go (also must admit that the famously robust Wheel Horse attachments are getting a little heavy for my 72 years)

Selling my 417-8 as I’ve upgraded to a 520. Have used this machine for about 5 years now mowing, snowplowing/blowing, and tilling. Been a great machine for me, just went with the 520 so I can do more loader work. It’s got about 1700 hours on the Kohler KT17 series 2, and starts and runs pretty good. It does burn a little bit of oil, but nothing major and is all original as far as I know. Decent rubber, and I always stayed on top of greasing and maintenance while I’ve had it. I also flushed the gear case when I first got it and swapped the fluid. Aside from that it’s in pretty good shape, have been using it all summer to mow. This will soon be sitting around which is why I’m selling it, no space and don’t want it to sit. It could use a new seat, and I have some spare parts (carb) and belts that will go with it.

Infamous Toro Wheel Horse 520-8 with clean 60" deck and electric attachment / implement lift. Supposidely 1 of 225 made . This one was tore down, restored and painted. Engine was fully rebuilt with Onan parts. Transaxle was resealed / got new bearings where needed. I have this cool drab green 1054 for sale. I dubbed it Joe like G.I. Joe. Hydraulic pump works and transmission shifts well. Comes with original survivor seat but I have misplaced the hardware for it. 1988 Wheel Horse 416-8 Garden Tractor Onan Twin - ran last season/ As-Is Selling a one owner garage kept Mower and serviced by Mainline Mowers over the years and I have decided to use a lawn service. It is an original, heavy-duty 1988 Wheel Horse 416-8 garden tractor with the 16 HP Twin-Cylinder Onan Performer engine and the coveted 8-speed manual Uni-Drive transmission. Currently a non-runner. It was professionally serviced and ran great last season, but we contracted out our lawn care to a service and let the tractor sit. Tried starting it today and it won't fire up. The battery is weak from sitting, and it likely needs the old fuel drained and the carburetor cleaned. It turns over but needs a little TLC to get back to 100%. Complete with mid-mount cutting deck. The sheet metal is straight, and the original red paint and hood decals are well-preserved for a 1988 model. Tires hold air great. Garage kept. Typical wear for its age—the vinyl seat is split and the steering wheel has tape, but the bones of this machine are solid iron. Perfect weekend project for a collector or Wheel Horse enthusiast who knows how to clean a carb and jump a battery. Terms: $575 or best offer. Cash only, local pickup. Hello all, I put my 520-8 up for sale on page 13 of the big show sale thread. Figured id add it here too to catch those not looking over there. Late to party, last minute for sale... 520-8 with good 42" s/d deck (blades nfg) Unit has 875 hours and clock works. All idiot lights and gauges work. Fresh oil and good battery. Yes it does need some light bulbs and minor doo dads. But it is still solid and very strong Tractor was used but not abused and runs great with no smoke or bad noises. Charging system works. I had plans to tear it apart and do a resto mod / rebuild it the way I would build a "520" and have come to realise I have enough 500 series parts laying around to build one using a 300/400 series as a starting platform. $1500 is my number... with genuine Wheel Horse wheel weights bring $500+ I feel this piece of Wheel Horse lore is worth it. This is a 1983 C-175 Automatic 11-17KE01, Serial Nbr 13120647, in very good condition with a 48" mower deck. The engine is a Kohler 17 hp twin cylinder, KT17S Spec 24223 (Series 1). Engine was rebuilt by previous owner and has 122 hours on it. Runs good and strong, no leaks and no smoke. All tires hold air. Battery replaced September of 2025. Only issue is the starter does not always immediately engage the flywheel to turn over the engine. Probably just needs to be removed and cleaned. Cash on pickup on west side of Cincinnati.

Removed from a 417A in good working order. I was cutting my grass with this machine until 2 years ago.

1946 pond lever steer, the first wheel horse tractor. Only 50 were made and around 25 or less known to still exist. Runs and drives as it should, has not been modified or messed with and a great example of 1 of these. Paint has been touched up years ago but still resembles the old patina look. Original rear tires , fronts were replaced about 5 years ago. I have a all redone 1968 140 H3 with rear hydraulics. All redone with a newer 14 HP motor. All new wiring. $800 OBO I can add pictures and more info if there is any interest. Pick up in CT.

The time has come for me to part with my trusty Wheel Horse and find it a new home. I am the second owner (since 2003) and it has always been stored in a garage. I am located about 20 minutes south of Rt 80 or 15 minutes north of Rt 78 near Rt 33. 1975 C-120 Special, 8-speed (Model 1-0375, Ser. # 133357). Running (no smoke) 12 hp Tecumseh (Model HH120-120180E, rebuilt 1986). Rebuilt carb, new fuel pump, and new ignition module (in 2006). Good used replacement tank, original tank is included in the sale. Brand-new battery, fuel filter, and shutoff valve installed 5/26. The transaxle case broke a small piece off (about 1” long by 1/4” wide) on one side of the center flange and was repaired with JB Weld. Solid 42” side discharge deck (Model 5-1010) bearings replaced in 2005. Extra set of Gator mulching blades and spare hi-lift blades included. Deck works as it should and is ready to cut. 42” snow/dozer blade (Model 86-42bc010), with Rear weights, tire chains and hardware. Blade angles left and right and lifts correctly and is ready to plow. Parts: 4 NOS belts and 2 good used belts, NOS taillight lenses, used starter, used ignition module, more (see pic). 1975 C Series Owner’s manual, 1975 WH accessory catalog, 5-1010 deck manual, original HH-120 manual, updated Tecumseh HH-120 technicians handbook. For sale is a 48 inch mower deck.It has been restored with a replacement shell, new gauge wheels, and painting of all hanger hardware. Paint used was Wheel horse part number paint. The deck was from my 420LSE which was sold. Chrome gauge wheels and blades not included.
