OK no extra charge for the fine patina. My last one you better hope I don't need this for a project. Check the package 'cause I gotta push it in a hole. The package is already sealed and was supposed to go out yesterday but RJG forgot to go to the post office...

had a 36 rd on a C165 --- wish i still had it - - terrific little mower - - makes great cut on lawn -- I just got another old 36 that i have stripped down -- about to go to sandblaster to clean off rust then needs 2 new spindles - - then prime and paint - - they seem to be hard to find -- especially without rust holes in shells

I may have one too. Ya know Squonky you can make one easily enough if you know the length. I'm sure you have z bend pliers. I think I used wire from a throttle cable. Lemme know if Randy bones ya I'll slip it in the t shirt package.

I did not find one but I did find a way to modify my disk to work with the sleeve hitch

As always, Red Square crew comes through. I now have hitches lined up for the 2 tractors that need them. Thanks @davidtmercer and @ebinmaine!

The 48" I have is really smooth. I had to replace the center spindle and pulley (NOS). It was loose for the PO for some reason and fouled the keyway. Blades line up perfectly. The chute was cut square at some point as some like to do and I'm indifferent about that but it does dispense the clippings well that way. There was some thinning near the chute and one spot on the left side rusted through that I built up with two layers of 8# woven cloth and epoxy so it's not unmolested but I would be critical to give it a B+ now that I've tested it. I put a new Huskee belt on it this weekend so it's ready to go.

Nope struck out. I have one left but need it. Go fish on the hex piece as well. See your other thread ... looks like Ed dog has the arm tho. Makes great sense David but I have this purist addiction.

If that doesn’t work out let me know and I’ll look around as well.

You may want to consider eliminating all of those parts you are needing and convert to a mule drive instead. Reference attached PDF files for two options. I have a couple of the 8-5551 kits available for sale if interested. MULE DRIVE UPGRADE (2).pdf Hitch Front 1972 8-5541 & 1973 8-5551 OM IPL.pdf

No problem. I'm in the UK, so anyway it's difficult to get Wheel Horse parts, so I'm always looking in the USA. If they don't complete let me know. Thanks

@Chrishar I've ground the rivets out with a Dremel. The bearing is available from a NAPA. I've reassembled them with small socket head bolts. Also, @WHX?? has a setup to replace the bearing and reassemble them with rivets for a complete factory look. I had him do a couple for me.

Thank you @davidtmercer for hooking me up with a nice differential and hubs!

Yes, the axle tolerance is about .005 under for these tapers. I had an axle that was almost ten under and the hub would slide around. I did get those hubs to work. I blocked the back of the hub with a piece of bar steel, taped (not hammered) the taper in, re torque the bolts, and repeated several times until the taper flange was almost up-against the hub. Has been holding on the xi machine with fluid filled tires over a year now. after before giving it an extra bump.

Based on my records, the 418-a is a 1987 model. The owners manual specifies 9.50 wide. I have purchased tractor tires from Miller Tire and was very satisfied.

What kind of thread pattern are you looking for? That does seem a little high but not for some styles like Firestone 23 ags. Tire prices have skyrocketed in recent years. I don't think I've ever saw or shopped for them in the 9.50 flavor but here's a set. Mainly 8.5 and 10.5. are most common which you should be able to easily run. https://www.millertire.com/23x9-50-12-rubber-master-turf-4-ply-tire/ Hers a set of Dees in 8.5 ags affordable & free ship. Probably not much more in 10.5 https://www.ebay.com/itm/353061325940?_skw=23+8.50+12+tire&epid=9073595196&itmmeta=01K5J87Y1AXD0KF3Q0P8FVVB4K&hash=item5234184c74:g:UpwAAeSw0o5n6opR&itmprp=enc%3AAQAKAAAA8FkggFvd1GGDu0w3yXCmi1d11yFgEzj4aj%2Blqc0ua%2Bjo4wxH%2FcDHuLeHYfDTvJ%2BewObf40j8b9P%2BBHvd94betbqiJxSJpZ%2FaZU3yHSk6Y%2B9%2F58ydz4YPWMOWdweFdE%2BpQz6snT5HlCLlUP4Cn8uglQWe56O8kZRP4eGmiZNaQ4NRKWj1%2F6%2Fyx6W7h%2BvkbL9LYjt7bA2pBQOS0afqUsSXyZzsj9bUTi0tOETirNPwZ8RzSQXOBXF%2F6SdqGrbHhMv%2BtQZlkig5Tf20QMx0BKZUHBJDT67kOmhENnga4bKBZaYaKrngHXHIKh61rLphlPzVug%3D%3D|tkp%3ABFBMuOGfyKxm
