Gas Tank Wanted.

Would a plastic tank work?

Yes Hank if it would fit. Bung type does not matter either.

The one I took off the Onan genset may fit.   It's metal with a mounting bracket.   Let me know if you want pics and dims.

I don't think it's gonna Jay. It's too tall and too wide. There is absolutely no wiggle room on those sides. Only wiggle room is from the front to the grill and not alot there.

This is the one from the genset.      10 3/4 X 5 1/2 X 4 3/8    The metal bracket two pcs. and is just clamped together around the tank.   Can be removed and altered.

I have some other tanks but I knew this one was close.     It's yours if it fits.         

Cost ya shipping if you want it now  or a coffee for delivery to the show.

That white one may work Ed. The black one may work too. Lemme check some dims with the hood closed tomorrow.

The black plastic one is 8 3/4 X 5 1/2 X 6 1/2 high.

Ticks me off the tank sealer didn’t work... my bad in applying it tho. 

Decent furl supply & final transmission adjustments and this one done!

Nope 6 1/2 way too high. Dan helped me wrestle the tank in the bracket and it just fit. Gas cap had a 1/16  clearance to top of hood. 

I have some smaller tanks laying around if you're still in need?
