What is this?

I found this on the driveway after the snowed cleared. I know it come from one of my tractors......but where. Anyone recognize it? It’s about 6 1/2 inches long.

Kinda looks like the linkage rod for the angle function on my plow?

 

Just a guess based on your equipment list - I see you have a 48" plow similar to mine...

Sorry it took so long to check....Not on my attachamatic...all the rods are still there....dont see where it would come off on my plow either.

I think ol550 nailed it. Check the hood stop rod thats what it looks like to me. Is it about 3/16-1/4" diameter? The hood hinge pin is more like 3/8"

Yeah, I woulda bet the farm it was this hood stop bar in the front attach-a-matic.    Maybe you have a prowler tractor in the neighborhood.

I just looked again...this time at the place where a hood stop pin should be. Neither the 5620 or the 160 has them. Could be from either. but what threw me is the the cotter pins would be inside the support not outside. That would mean it probably had two washers, one on the inside of both ends. Its 1/4 inch.

There are no washers on any of mine.  Just the two cotter pins inside each of  the side plates.    If one pin rusts off or falls out, the rod slides over and falls out.

Exactly what must have happened to mine....thanks to all here, I knew I could get the answer.
