So if anyone is like me and is hooked on doing tons of research and as part of that, watch tons of You Tube, then perhaps you have come across FAst Lane Truck. Anyway they do good reviews and also do a really decent towing review. They use the GENY hitches. But they also have a sweet weight distribution hitch set up that doubles as an anti sway set up. It’s not on the GENY website. And dealers don’t have the info. But I spoke to a tech rep at GENY and got the skinny. The weight distribution set up is made by a competitor. Fastway. They allow GENY to sell them but not to market them on their website. Just in case soemone else wants a similar set up. This pic is front fastway and basically the spring bars and l bracket set up is sold by GENY.

I would hate to run into that with my shin....or my truck. Like hitting a freight train.

Yeah,  that looks like kneecap damage waiting to happen.

Pull with it awhile and check the frame bolt torque unloaded, they can loosen up a bit.

That’s the kinda hitch you need to tow the GT22-8 :ychain:—stout!

Overkill for small utility trailer but it will work and I don’t have to upgrade now as I increase capacity over next 10-15 years. The average time I keep a truck:-)

So I have done lots of small stuff to my hauler to git’r’done the way I like it. I’m almost finished. It gets a bullet bed Liner sprayed on Monday.

buth last Thursday I got my wheels and tires (back ordered 8-10 weeks)

in the interim a lift kit and dual steering stabilizer set up.

The set set up I installed kept the stock springs and the tires have more load capacity that stock so it still rides awesome and I can still stow pretty much anything I want. As long as I am flush with cash. The power stroke is stout but thirsty compared to Rams. I get 9.8 towing fully loaded.

I do love this thing though:-)
