XI PTO Clutch

Recommended Posts

I think the electric pto clutch is going bad on my XI. It will not engage fully unless i mess with it. My question is whats a good replacement. The toro part # 94-2190 and is around $500 their is sum extreme torque clutches on ebay for around 300-350 and their sum no name ones for $200. The one on it is a warner 5218-23.

WHX??

Did you try taking it apart and cleaning? My electrics get a dust build up in them

Is there any adjustments on it?

Toro has always been proud  of their clutches. Those extreme ones are better ones and unlike some toro have replaceable bearings.

Here's what it looks like I'm not sure if this is normal wear or if it's toasted

Likely nothing to do with the present condition but often wonder if the dealer would take the time to install an attachment so the following could be done as instructed at pre-delivery.

If I had to guess NO!

I found my problem low voltage. The charging system isn't working. Did a quick check think is the regulator rectifier.
