Ed Kennell 35,770 #1 Posted October 20, 2014 Went to Lowes for a new shower head yesterday and found they had this -20 deg. fluid on sale for $1.97 a Gallon. Don't know if the sale is nationwide or just local, but 2 bucks a gal is the best price I've seen for awhile. So I filled a couple tires today.
Ed Kennell 35,770 #2 Posted October 20, 2014 Oops, maybe this shouldn't be in Tractors, but the wheels are off a tractor.

Kegler 68 #7 Posted October 21, 2014 Has to be one in every group! Racinbob, you might try for some RV antifreeze, but unless you are coming north with it ~~~~~~~~
Racinbob 10,277 #8 Posted October 21, 2014 (edited) Actually, I was just messing around. It can be found down here for the folks heading north. $1.97 is a good price. Last November I headed out to northern Indiana. It was colder than normal (low teens) up there. I didn't remember until I got north of Indianapolis that I still had the bug wash in the washer tank that had no anti-freeze capabilities. I started squirting and squirting it to run the tank out and bought a gallon of -20 in Rochester. Edited October 21, 2014 by Racinbob
Ed Kennell 35,770 #9 Posted October 21, 2014 Well, I bought too quick. Went to ACE today and they had the -50 RV antifreeze on sale for $2.97 and a $1.00 instant rebate with their rewards card. So I loaded up with -50 for $1.97.
