Made a little music today. With the wiring harness finished, and the battery cables hooked up, I checked all of my connections, made certain that everything was in order, attached the fuel tank, put in some gas and hit the starter.

Man, am I getting nervous.

Eight days until I have to load this thing on the trailer for the show.

The hood, fender pan and belt cover are sitting at my friends body shop waiting for an opening in the paint booth. He's hoping Friday. Yikes!

The rims are at the sandblaster's and he won't answer his phone. :D Still need to be painted and tires mounted.

The seat is in transit from Northern Tool.

Then, all the final assembly needs to be completed and a couple of test runs taken.

At least I got some of the decals on today.

Looks like I may be pulling a couple of all-nighters.

I'm beginning to think I may not pull this off.

Bob,

Did your tins come back yet? :D

Not going to have an opening in the spray booth until Friday. I'm at a standstill. Without the belt cover, I can't finish installing all the PTO parts and other things that go on after the belt cover.

:USA:

Wow! Good news is coming in bunches today. The rims have been sandblasted. But not only that, they made a mistake and powder coated them too. Ooops. No charge for the powder coat since I didn't order it.

Good news from the tire dealer. My Turf Savers came in, and since the rims were done, I've got 4 tires mounted and ready to put on the tractor.

Good news from the body shop. The booth was cleared this morning and is available to me all day.

Better news...I took a couple hours off and painted the hood, fender pan and belt cover.

I came home and found a box on my front porch. My new seat arrived.

Woo Hoo! :D

Chuck, It looks like I won't be needing those cheerleaders after all.

Pictures to follow later.

Got the belt cover and right foot rest on, along with some new shoes.

Tomorrow I will install the fender pan, seat, and hood. The rest of the decals go on Saturday or Sunday (should wait 48 hours for decals on acrylic urethane).

I am making a set of foot rest pads now and they will go on with the decals.

I think that I will give myself a Father's day gift on Sunday of taking her for a drive.

:D

Lookin' sweet Bob. Can't wait to see it at the show. You lucked out on getting everything delivered right on time, and the added "extra" of powder coating was icing on the cake.

The B-100 project is nearing the end. I took today off and with the exception of gluing down the foot rest pads, I finished her. Here's a couple of pictures:
