My New "refurbished" horse hauler

Recommended Posts

Here are a few pics of my new horse/Terramite hauler... Had to replace the floodboards with new pt lumber, pressure wash, paint and new lights. Last I will need to install new diamond plate fenders and new shoes... Here is what is looks like so far.

Wish I had pictures of what it looked like when I dragged it home :) It sat in the woods for about 5 years.

Thanks all- the deck is 2x10 pt with a coat of redwood stain that the previous owner left in the house I just bought. I just got back from Tractor Supply ... I picked up a set of diamond plate fenders. I will update pics once they are on.

Well done Steve!

Now with a bigger trailer you need to make sure to load it up for the show so you can't bring anything home! :)

butch your right on it will also go nice with any ford including a 150 although the chevy is holding up and im not sure that any ford would like to step on his chevy since it is working for him :)

Gerry,

If you saw my 5x8 loaded up in June you going to the show and coming back you would know I am still about 6 feet too short :)

Forgot to take pics during the day but got the new fenders from TSC. I like the look of the diamond plate but once they lose they're shine they too will get a coat of paint. I think they stick out too much.

I have a question...

Would you leave the rims black or would you paint them white or any other color?
