Dans 414-8 2 #1 Posted August 31, 2022 (edited) For some reason the new to me 414-8 DOES not have any fuel filter Did they have them off the factory set up Where is the best place to put one under hood or at the rear of the tank a metal one or plastic one ALSO while at LOWES they have those new sparkplugs in the green packaging. They have the wider Electron bottom instead of the usual type (where you set the gap at) I forget what company SO..... Where you personally put it shouldn't matter too much though... as long as you put it in in the correct direction for flow. I use both metal and plastic. Just buy a good o'le dependable champion. If you wanted to upgrade... I would recommend an autolite... but that is totally unnecessary in your case.
