953 nut 54,946 #51 Posted September 24, 2022 My wife had a Monti Carlo with a transverse mounted V6. Manuals said you had to unbolt the rear motor mount and jack the engine up to change the rear spark plugs. I came up with the right plug socket (with the rubber plug retainer) and a variety of extensions and a universal to reach each plug and change them. Actually, it's the 'dog bone' front upper mounts that need to come off and a ratchet strap to pull the engine forward so you have room. OR, you could remove the coil packs, or BOTH.
