No Broken Bones… this time

My wife had a Monti Carlo with a transverse mounted V6.  Manuals said you had to unbolt the rear motor mount and jack the engine up to change the rear spark plugs. I came up with the right plug socket (with the rubber plug retainer) and a variety of extensions and a universal to reach each plug and change them. Getting the threads started on the new plugs was fun but I managed.

I've got one now, a 98.  Actually, it's the 'dog bone' front upper mounts that need to come off and a ratchet strap to pull the engine forward so you have room.

OR, you could remove the coil packs, or BOTH.

What year was yours?
