I agree, with the welded crack in the casting and that whole differential set up, I would seek out a different 3 piece transmission.  Maybe @Jake Kuhn in South Haven has one for sale...or post an ad in our Classified (Wanted) section.

Looking at the pictures, here is what looks OK.  Post #18 shows a worn out Reduction gear (bad) and a good spline shaft.  Post #19 shows the inside of your 2nd & 3rd fork gear.  The inside is your 3rd gear and is worn.  Use this gear and your trans will pop out of 3rd gear a lot.  The input shaft looks a little worn, but may be OK.  Also, the little pinion gear on the bottom of the cluster gear shaft looks good.  Post #20...the bull gear is OK, if you can loose those bolts with that wire.  Take that stuff off and see how the bull gear fits onto your differential housing.  Obviously need 4 pinions and 2 axle gears and axles.  Post #22 shows a good cluster gear.  That thing in Post #24 is not part of any Wheel Horse transmission.  One other thing, because of those modifications, you will probably need 2 different hubs for 1" axles and maybe different rims to fit the different hubs.

Post in the Want Ads here...there are a lot of members on this site that live close to you that may be able to help.  Down the IPL in this link...has the transmission and parts.  :occasion-xmas:
