Searcher60 209 #1 Posted August 21, 2022 Hello, can anyone confirm that the Wheel Horse with K301 and K321 large base blocks are identical except for bore size? And, that the K301 can be bored out to the same size as the K321? And, the crank and cams are also identical in the Wheel Horse spec 301 & 321? Thanks. This manual will give the specs on the K model Koher engines. ( bore, stroke, etc) https://resources.kohler.com/power/kohler/enginesUS/pdf/tp_2379.pdf Best to check the parts manuals to see if the same cam, rod, etc were used.
squonk 43,770 #3 Posted August 21, 2022 301 and 321 stroke is the same. They used the same block for both engines so yes it can be bored to 321 size. The cranks were balanced for piston/rod weight. Balance weights are different on the 301 crank. 321 and 341 cranks are the same.
