Bens vintage tractors 1,555 #1 Posted August 15, 2022 Found a pretty cool one today. Raider 12 with electric lift. Only bought it for the deck so if anyone is interested in the tractor let me know. 2
Sparky-(Admin) 23,130 #2 Posted August 15, 2022 Interesting lift….not a factory setup (I don’t think it’s factory)

Thor27 835 #6 Posted August 15, 2022 Following along to see where this goes. Have same lift and a raider waiting its turn for some attention.
Howie 899 #7 Posted August 16, 2022 Have one of those lifts on a tractor here also. I use the thing too.

Hampton 95 #9 Posted August 16, 2022 Where do you attach something to lift?

I don't see a place to attach anything. No holes or what ever.
Thor27 835 #12 Posted August 16, 2022 (edited) Everything attatches exactly as it would to a similar horse without an electric lift. The actuator replaces the lift handle. the bell crank that normally operates off the lift handle is still there but attached to the front of that actuator. The rear of the actuator you see in the pictures is on a bracket that bolts to the rear axle and doesn't move. Maybe this will help...the electric lift simply actuates the rocker to retract or extend the cable and (likely) chain to lift the attachment "rocking" behind the rear axle which can be accomplished a couple ways. I don't think I stated that clearly but I hope you can put the pieces together
Hampton 95 #15 Posted August 17, 2022 (edited) I understand how the lift works. I mean this section I have circled. How do you attach something to it? Edited August 17, 2022 by Hampton
pfrederi 18,638 #16 Posted August 17, 2022 Looking at the manual you do not attach anything there. if you are using a slot or clevis hitch it is raised by the cable that goes through the tube up to the pivot arm under the hood stand. Same setup as if you were using a manual lift.

Hampton 95 #20 Posted August 21, 2022 Can you use it to raise and lower implements with a clevis hitch?
Thompson1276 257 #21 Posted August 22, 2022 Interesting that pretty cool bet that was useful in the yesteryears is that for the deck or rear attachments
Howie 899 #22 Posted August 23, 2022 It will lift whatever you put on the tractor just like the manual lift lever did. It basically just replaces the manual lift lever. Has its own specific rock shaft.
