Old Steering Setups

Wow I never new how much i like the tie rod system until i started restoring my 63 lawnranger....I got everything bolted together with all new paint and nothing will move.. ..The front axle is so tight...it does move...(hmmm ,,,straight axle maybe good for racing..) and the steering is stuck straight ...bad for turning

On a serious note, there is a lot of metal to metal in this steering system,,ruff on the new paint...I taking it back apart and greasing the metal to metal areas, I normally take it easy on the grease, but in this case, I may have to let her have it! :thumbs:
