bork 0 #1 Posted July 6, 2009 Under the seat mod tag states "71221". Side plastic engine cover states "16-38 XRL" Looked in the"links" under models, but saw no numbers close to these. I need to find a forum for this mower, since I have questions about the drive(automatic) any adjustments? it grinds when 1st starting out. after warmed up, it is good. rustbucket 4 #2 Posted July 6, 2009 your model is a 13-38 thats the way toro did those tractors i had a 13-38 XL that was gear drive and i still have a 17-44 HXL thats a hydro. the grinding might be a pully under your mower giving out like the bearings are slowly going shot. not to sure about it though you might want to have it looked at by a profesional who wont say time for a new tractor Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

bork 0 #4 Posted July 6, 2009 I'm guesing the 38 is cutting width & the 16 is the 15.5 hp engine. Where do you get the 13-38? I dont see that in the list of tractors in the links. Crud! I double checked XRL & its NOT but a HXL. my bad. I gotta get stronger glasses or I'm thinking dirtbikes cause there is a XRL. OIY ! sorry. Anyway it must be a hydro as yours. Do you have any adjustments to make on yours? my dad passed away & I'm guessing it is 10-12 years old. looks like new.
