I lost spark on my 520H Im trying to figure out if this model has points or not. I need a coil that willl fit wheel horse engine code P220G and possibly magnetic pick-up...Any help would be appreciated/. Its got the original coil on it and I guess its just old and quit..Im gonna test it again to make sure but I need to know if it has points or not..Thank you

Hold the key switch on and wiggle the wires to the fuses...

:text-yeahthat:     No points on the 520.   Good chance it's a corroded connection somewhere.

@RonnieB2nd  also cracked plug in connections , often showing an electrical  cracking dust at the fault area , tight chafing wires , as  you hunt , have help using the ignition key , on / of to test reaction with key reaction . just basic stuff .  this is only a trial start to your issue , pete

I got to thinking that I was over thinking. it. Considering it was running fine before the mechanic got it, then suddenly loses fire seemed fishy to me. I removed a spark plug and it had a gap you could stick  your finger through (exaggeration) so we closed the gaps and it runs like a top
