C120, 1975, 12hp Kohler Engine, Spark Plug Setting?

I can't find the spark plug setting in the manual. Anyone know it or know where to find it?

A rule of thumb for all Kohler sparkplugs is .025 for a magneto system and .035 for all battery powered ignition systems.

What Richard said above is true for the Kohler 10, 12, 14 hp engines.  The Kohler 4, 6, 7, 8 hp engines gap at .025.  :eusa-think:

   When in doubt, go into our "Manual" Section / Engines / Kohler.  The information is there.  :occasion-xmas:

Steve is correct here.

 

I personally always go a little wider, as, in my experience, it gives more power. Obviously... going too wide would be... dumb... :rolleyes:

 

In general you cant go wrong with .030 to .035 thousandths on a spark plug for any small engine application :handgestures-thumbupright:
