TT-(Moderator) 1,128 #2 Posted July 4, 2009 It's a steerable rear transaxle for one of the throwaway "tin can" lawn tractors produced for companies like AYP & MTD by Peerless, Foote, Spicer, etc. I think they were designed to enable the ability to turn much sharper and quickly so they could run and hide in embarrassment when an owner of a real tractor (such as a Wheel Horse) got close enough to make fun of the poor guy driving it. :thumbs2: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
