, when attempting to remove a long stuck mower deck pulley , its imperative  to use an even double lifting force , its key to " rocker " those 2 wonder bars under the very center mount point of the pulley . with top nut  removed  , and lubricant sprayed into shaft fit area , an even outward push will lift the bar end up , also put the wonder bar on the bolt that holds the spindle to deck area , thats what increases the mechanical advantage . no bent pulley , just smooth lift off , done this a number of times . it works . if you have gotten this far , also detail your spindle  grease . lucas x-tra heavy duty chassis , 560 drop point rated , anti sling ,and polyurea rated . no more whining , noisy bearings , by the way the mule drive bearings are the same 6203 ( 3/4 ) bearings , change out the grease in those to , makes for a solid / quiet  rebuild. pete

@Snoopy11  , done this a number of times , you can always tell when there is the wrong grease in a bearing , hi speed noisy whining. those bearings also are very popular in ceiling fans , you must verify a lubricant that will stand up to heat , anti sling and polyurea rated to recover itself . done tis on brand new bearings , the noise difference is amazing . tell me how hot those mule  drive bearings get ?  with that angular loading , many hours on my decks with this set up , no noise , make your rebuild like new , greasy ,pete
