Passes straight thru (either direction) , it's a very light press fit, but is likely corroded together.

Corroded or heated up.

PB Blaster soak for a few days plus a gentle tap with hammer and wood block.

Maybe a little torch heat.

Repeat.

Yep it’s small enough to submerge in a can of diesel or kerosene for a few days.

If you have a Toro dealer near you, go there and check for that stub shaft.  I think they might still be available.  Take the model number from your tractor with you, as that will help in looking up the part.

The later stub shafts have a retaining ring on both sides of the bearing so when the pto is changed to off the linkage will pull the pto bell away from the friction material.

The small parts inside the bell that pushed it out can be eliminated if you have those. Here is a parts page. It requires an extra #34 retaining ring.

Just a heads up when looking for part it's a '74 or 75 B-80 although it shouldn't matter on that shaft.

Find a garage with a press and they can press that shaft out for a couple of bucks. Bearing is a Napa PP204RR6

I should mention that here in this area there are no Napa parts stores just an auto zone but they should have that bearing if the wheel horse dealer doesn't again thanks
