rjhutson 7 #1 Posted April 8, 2022 I bought a 1996 314/8. everything works except the tail lights. I found two black wires coming out of the electric plug that are not attached to anything. The other end of plug has the green and yellow wires going to the tail lights. are these two black wires the ground? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Handy Don 10,965 #2 Posted April 9, 2022 Welcome to the forum! There is a bounty of terrific info in the "Files" or "Document" section just waiting for your search. Including the OPM and IPM and wiring diagram for your tractor. I searched using "tractor 1996 314" in the Files section and switched on the "use all my search terms" option. Here is the search URL. There are a bunch of documents and it appears that the wiring for the 314 got changed during the production so you'll have to match yours up using the SN listings on the different documents in the list. This is one of them. I also searched for 1998 (accidental typo on first search) and it appears the grounds were part of the taillight wiring by then. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
