Ken B 3,189 #1 Posted June 30, 2009 My friend has a C-141 and while using it the gear shifter wound up in his hand and out of the transmission. I'm just wondering what the fix is for this? Thanks for any help, Ken
WHC-125 4 #2 Posted June 30, 2009 There is a set screw with a nut on it to lock it in place and it probably loosened up. To fix it you align the shift forks so the tractor is in neutral with a flat head screw driver if it isnt in neutral already. Then the shifter will have a slight indent on the ball of it and you line the screw up with the ball until it is tight but not too tight or the shifter will be difficult to move. And lastly tighten the nut and your ready to go.
kpthorsefan 34 #3 Posted June 30, 2009 hi ken, ther is a bolt and lock nut that holds it in, i would think it has worked loose.
