rwilson 128 #1 Posted June 30, 2009 Ever since I went to the show and asked about a toolbox for a suburban, a little out of my price range. I have been toying with the idea to build a new one to wheelhorse specs. The problem is I need a picture and dimensions of one. Can someone please take the time to get some pictures and put some measurements on there for me? They dont look too hard to fab up. I just dont have any pictures. CasualObserver 3,410 #3 Posted June 30, 2009 These are dimensions I gave someone else recently... let me know if it's confusing. Pretty simple box, there is a rectangle cutout in the front for the seat spring to come through, and a circular hole next to it for the cable lift. In the back there is a square hole for the cable lift. Square so that the clevis can get in and not be interfered with. There are three bolt holes in the bottom of the tray. The tray itself is thin sheet metal the same gauge as the hood. The corners joints are overlapped about a 1/2 inch. The fender bolts are 1/4" bolts with the holes being 1 inch in and 1 inch down from the top outside corners of the box. the tray insde measures 8 inches from front to back, 14 inches left to right and 3.25 inches tall. I hope all that makes sense. If not, please give me a shout. and here's some pics. http://s228.photobucket.com/albums/ee171/j...?albumview=grid
