abrown0920 0 #1 Posted June 29, 2009 The seat on my 753 rubs on the fenders. Anyone know what a good solution (short of me dropping 25 lbs) is. The seat comes through the toolbox so I don't really see a good way to put a spacer under the spring.
Kelly 1,033 #2 Posted June 29, 2009 Well I was going to say lose a few pounds, but you already did, I have a tractor that has a spacer under the seat between the spring and seat, kind crude it's a chunk of 2x4 I got it that way, I'm sure a nicer one could be made, also check to see if the center of your seat is cracked or bent letting it tilt more. Brian1045 28 #3 Posted June 29, 2009 My seat is a pan style. It almost rubs if I mount it to the back hole on the U spring. If I mount it to the front hole for more support it misses by a mile. But your leg clearance will be less.
rustbucket 4 #4 Posted June 29, 2009 i'm a big boy and in the pics you see of me at the show my seat was bottoming out into the fenders. my idea was to wrap the pan edge in that plastic type edgeing stuff and maybe raise the seat on the spring itself for more clearance
