Fishroe 261 #5 Posted March 17, 2022 I didn’t know for sure exposing the air filter didn’t look right but being able to adjust idle mixture did look right

kpinnc 14,627 #7 Posted March 17, 2022 No sir, that Magnum 14 is all wrong. Box it up and I'll take it off your hands as-is! Consider me "taking one for the team". Sorry. A Mag 14 is one of my favorites. All the power and smooth running of a Kohler, with the simplicity of breakerless ignition. Nothing to dislike! 2
tunahead72 2,543 #8 Posted March 17, 2022 You're moving right along on this tractor @Fishroe, nice work!
Fishroe 261 #9 Posted March 17, 2022 Thanks axle seal and shifter boot should be here next Monday or Tuesday. Hopefully no problems getting the hub off i really was surprised how well the motor run considering it had been sitting out in the weather. It starts quicker than my other 414 the other one uses a little oil and smokes some too. Ordered a head gasket and breather for it might help some. It still runs good though those cast iron motors are like the energizer bunnie 3
peter lena 9,252 #10 Posted March 17, 2022 @Fishroe , use a razor blade to take off that shifter boot and dielectric grease to install it on the shaft to boot hole area , makes it go on easy . pete
