41chevy 74 #1 Posted March 16, 2022 B 80 1 1/8” axle seal, I replaced both seals, now I see one is still leaking Axle was sanded cleaned with 400 hundred, all edges have no burrs that could possibly cut the rubber. I do notice the axle will move a 32nd up and down. Another thing the seal wont go in flush it’s a 32nd out from casting while the non leaking side is in side the casting a good 1/8.
