And this jumped on the trailer. Guy took $100 for it. Obviously it doesn’t run but it has compression

Couldn’t turn it down. From the model # chart it’s an 89. The one I have now is an 86. Is the only difference is one has points and magnum is electronic. This one has an hour meter 811 hrs

my 86 doesn’t. Wouldnt let load but 2 pics.
deck has a couple rusted out holes too

@Fishroe , nice, remove the deck so it doesn't distract you , go over all the basics to hopefully find out what you have . pay attention to worn , chafed wiring , possible electrical cracking at plug in connections . maybe even run it on a separate gallon of heavily treated gas . done that exact basic first look and found the problems . also a lub o rama  , on grease and oil drainage .those 14,s are worth a save , good luck , pete

Good tips Pete

lot of investigating to do for sure

hopefully the idiot lights work

when I bought the 86 model 8 years ago they didn’t work so I took them out of the equation and rewired the whole tractor

@Fishroe,  like that idea and approach , when it comes to wiring , usually favor the most reliable set up . once you solve a chronic problem , its solid and always works. pete

Agreed.

Nice find. Excellent value there in parts alone.

Use this list to go through the tractor.

414-8 is a beast of a tractor. For that setup, only second to a 416-8. Pretty hard to tell the difference from the seat actually!

Nice score!
