I have a P220 Onan 520-8 the battery went dead it reads low on the gauge I don't know if it's from running to less RPMs I put it on the battery charger all night last night. Would you guys mind posting a pic of the amp gauge on your tractors at idle and at Full throttle.

Your 520 should have a VOLT gauge and should show about 13.5 to 14 volts.

If per chance you do have an ammeter.  if the battery is decent and it has been running for awhile the meter should show Zero

Ammeters are very poor in showing condition of both battery and charging. If you dont have one go get one of the cheapo 'multimeters' at HF or most any where $10-15.

Ck the battery with it and not running the meter should read around 13.0-13.5+volts, when engine running it should show 14-15volts.

Fuses don't blow for no reason, what was the reason?

A little bit of carb cleaner got on the negative and it caused a big spark.
