520H Onan

I have a 93 or 92 Toro WH 520H listed for sale. A buddy is trying to trade me an older Cub cadet. I know one has a Kohler courage engine so it's out. Command is the commercial Kohler right? One is a newer model which I don't want.  So that leaves just on to choose from. I would be a fool to trade this 520 for a residential mower. This 520 runs like a dream.  Haven't started it in 16 months. Jumped it off and it started like chevrolet. Bumped the key once and vaaaaaàarom. It did a big wheelie and took off. I wish he'd offer something worth what this tractor is worth. Zero rust any where runs like a top just need the belts changed. They're getting some age on them. I wanna see about how hard and expensive a front loaded bucket rig would cost too

So why are you selling or trading  one of the best garden tractors made for one of those yellow lawn mowers?

Where do you live, never heard of 29 or 30 year old 520 H with no rust. Must have never been outside, and you wanting to trade it.

Depends on what model of Cub Cadet.  Yes, some of the newer ones used Kohler Courage engines on some models, but the older ones, especially the IH built ones were tanks and used Kohler K series engines on their GTs, while the earlier MTD built GTs used Kohler Magnums and Commands up to the mid to late 90s.  The 82 series of the early 80s that IH built are gems.

I went to look at the mower and researched it. It is a nice 1995 lt45 cub and maybe worth 500 bucks.  I'm not gonna trade him. I'd rather just keep my little Red monster and keep showing up my neighbors with that great cut and distinctive Wheel Horse onan exhaust tune.  Thanks for the input. I really appreciate it
