oliver2-44 10,715 #3 Posted February 16, 2022 (edited) Depending on the condition of the spindle shafts and especially the aluminum spindle housings you can rebuild those spindle assemblies. One of the hardest parts of the job is getting the pullies off the top end of the shafts, which you have to do either way. One of our Vendors K&B has new and rebuilt spindles. If your shaft on the blade end are the Double DD style you might check if it would be an option to use a regular round shaft since the DD blades are getting hard to find. jeff w 4 #4 Posted February 16, 2022 These spindles are originals (1974)? Have not removed yet. Treated all hardware upon removal last September, hope to get them off.
