I knew that the short  shilelagh would come in handy one day. Combined with the newly acquired Ford magneto magnet it will keep sharps off the floor without going on my knees to find them. :D

Good adaptation.

 

Got to thinking today about starting to carry a sheilelagh while I walk the dog - had another encounter with a loose unattended dog.  My little voice was saying something about having the proper tool at the proper time....

The upper end of a good Shilelagh will leave no doubt as to one’s distaste for the recipient.
