gattonde 2 #1 Posted June 25, 2009 I went to look at a C195 today that was being parted out. I was hoping to get a fender pan for my Super C. The only thing missing when I arrived was the engine. I hated to see it being sold for part's so I brought the whole thing. Now I''m still looking for a decent fender pan, and also a engine . Gattonde, Southern New Jersey. Sparky-(Admin) 23,514 #2 Posted June 25, 2009 Cool ! I wonder if a 16HP Kohler single cylinder would work with out major mods. Mike.........
gattonde 2 #3 Posted June 26, 2009 I'm actually thinking the same thing. I have Magnum 16 single piston that I was planning of trying out on it. Gattonde, Southern New Jersey

kj4kicks 154 #5 Posted June 26, 2009 I wonder if a 16HP Kohler single cylinder would work with out major mods. In a word, yes ! It's a fairly simple swap, and all the holes are there.

Wheel Horse Fan 3 #7 Posted June 27, 2009 Nice score, where did you find it? Let me know if you are interested in selling it. You can keep the fender pan you need. I am searching for a project tractor and C-195 might be the one.
gattonde 2 #8 Posted June 27, 2009 Wheel Horse Fan, I plan on installing a Magnum 16 on this and keeping it. Since some of the part's for these things are so hard to come by this way I'll always have a spare. I might be convinced to trade for your 416 , lol. I found this on Craigs List, it was in Lansdale, Pa. If I change my mind, I'll let you know. Kj4kicks, Thanks for the feedback on the engine swap. As for pictures, it's presently pretty ugly, in dire need of a derust and paint. I will get on soon, I hope. When I do, I plan on posting picts. Wheel Horse Fan 3 #9 Posted June 27, 2009 Well thought I would take a shot. 416 is staying in my shed for a long time. I'm just looking for another now. I'm addicted now. These are cheaper then cars so it's away to get my fix. Good luck with the motor swap. Just keep it together and I hope it works well for you.
