T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,599 #6 Posted June 25, 2009 That is nice. Could you put it here: http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/index.php?showforum=38 We have a small collection of brochures, literature, ads, etc., and that would be great to have that in there. Thanks. Sparky-(Admin) 23,130 #7 Posted June 25, 2009 Fantastic. I love how in every pic of the two guys on seperate tractors clearing snow, mowing, or doing leave cleanup there is always a poor sap across the street doing the same with a shovel, push mower, and a rake . Thanks for sharing. Mike..........

Bow_Extreme 550 #10 Posted June 25, 2009 Very Neat. I would like to find some of the attachments listed on the last couple sets of pages. The lawn rake, the 3 gang rear reel mower and the front mount reel mower. Does anyone here already have those items?
CasualObserver 3,411 #11 Posted June 25, 2009 I don't know about the lawn rake, but I have a front mounted reel as well as several other members, and I know of at least two members who have (or have had) the SGM-603 gang reel mower setup. here's my LMR-301 on my Suburban 400 and here's a few pics of another member's gang reels (these are a different style than is in the brochure above, but they're still WH. Bow_Extreme 550 #12 Posted June 25, 2009 That is pretty sweet!! Maybe someday I will come across some of these items. Than again I haven't really been looking for anything lately.
Coadster32 793 #13 Posted June 25, 2009 If the brochure was from 1961, why is there front engine 502/552/702's in some of the pics? They must have been making them already, and the brochure be from the end of 1961. Also, how long were they called Suburbans? I was under the impression that in 1962, they weren't Suburbans anymore. CasualObserver 3,411 #14 Posted June 25, 2009 the 1961 701 was the first tall stance, front engine tractor, that's what you're seeing in the pictures. That "Chevy bow-tie" type decal on the hood was only used in 1961. In 1962 they started using the 2 inch square. I always thought the "Suburban" title went with the 1960-61 years... the ones with contour lines in the hood, but closed face (no louvers), however the owners manual for the 502/552/702 calls them Suburban Tractors. So somewhere in that 61-62 range is where it stopped I think.
WheelHorse_of_course 99 #15 Posted June 25, 2009 I am really glad to be assured on the last page they are built to last a decade! :thumbs2:
Coadster32 793 #16 Posted June 26, 2009 I stand corrected. All of the Suburbans had fenders. That means there is a pic of an RJ in there then. I'm pretty sure of that. Anyway, last post for me. I'm going to PA tomorrow morning. Hopefully I'll be bumping into others and meeting them for the first time.

evanloock 236 #18 Posted June 26, 2009 No, all the mid-engine tractors DID NOT have fenders. They were optional on the RJ-58/59, Suburban 400 and 401.
