Does anyone know of a hour meter I could get for the 414-8 and what would you wire it to

always a guessing game as to how many hours

I put this one on my C-175.  Working good so far.

I would recommend you stay away from the cheap ones.  I first got this one and the crappy plastic mounting thing wouldn't hold it in the panel.

No good on a tractor.  Maybe on something that doesn't move though...

They get wired to the 12V ACCESSORY circuit.

Agree with Jeff on the second one he showed. Had 2 of them and they only worked a few minutes....

think this would work

I don't see why not, but I woud prefer a round one that matches any other gauges.

Does your dash have a cutout for the gauge already?

No I could

for now I think I might get the Napa one and mount it right beside the battery behind the throttle control lever with Velcro

One day if and when I decide to take everything apart and repaint I might put a round one in then. The motor burns a little bit of oil so whenever that would need rebuilding would be the time for me to do everything
