I have a Kohler # 25 704 01 kit in stock, the instructions state that it fits most m-series engines. Any clue if they are compatible? I've been thru the books/manuals and come up empty. jeepdan 337 #3 Posted January 11, 2022 (edited) Hi Brian, I have been researching also Parts Tree website shows 25 704 01 Superseded by 25 704 03-S I originally got the 25 704 04-S part number from the Kohler Parts website. Conflicting info for sure. Looking at the list posted above, my 1989 312-8 M12- 42157 would take the 25 704-04S? Maybe configured for the idiot lights?
