Joe 77 B100 84 #1 Posted January 9, 2022 I've got a 77 B-100 and only one of the lights works. I took off the plastic cover and found one bulb came out but the other is rusted into the socket. From what I can tell, the piece behind the plastic cover seems to be gray and metal- almost seems like lead (maybe its plastic and its just really cold in my shop), I used PB Blaster on it but it still didn't come out and the glass part broke. Should I keep trying to get the bulb out? Should I try and find a replacement piece since the sockets look like they are integral to the piece? Is that in any way possible considering the age? Thanks in advance.
JPWH 6,319 #2 Posted January 9, 2022 You can dig the old bulb out. Use a small pair of needle nose and a small screwdriver. Once all the glass is out you can grab the metal part of the bulb and start twisting. It will come out a little piece at a time. The screwdriver will help to gently pry the bulb loose from the socket. Jay 3 1
SylvanLakeWH 28,080 #3 Posted January 9, 2022 Insert Small needle nose pliers straight down with half inside half outside bulb base but between bulb and socket. Twist bulb base around pliers it will wrap around pliers and pull bulb base right out… 4

Achto 29,229 #5 Posted January 10, 2022 All the above, once you get the bulb base out clean up the inside of the socket and replace the guts. Use some dielectric grease on the new bulb to prevent this from happening again. 1
