Recommended Posts

RED-Z06

Got this a couple days ago, 1974 C-100, electric lift, i put gas in it..battery...fired right up after sitting 6 years.  He also threw in a 7200w Dayton/Honda Generator that also works great...all for 250 bucks.

First up! :text-welcomeconfetti:to :rs:

Nice score! at a steal of a price. A week ago I didn't know WH had an electric lift option, and now they are popping up from everywhere!

Interesting chute extension! Never seen that before.

the seat is in mint condition!

Be welcome, If you have any questions? please ask me or the other member on here. We will be glad to help out!:handgestures-thumbupright:

Apparently it has a 1 way bearing that allows full extension without binding but locks back..otherwise im not sure, seems to work great

Still have my 1993 416-H with clevis hitch, plow, and 36ish inch Tiller, and my Model 702 with a K181S transplanted on it.

702 still has the wrong decal on it 18 years later🤣

@RED-Z06 , were you wearing a mask and holding a gun on that deal ?  only fooling , terrific deal on that !  people get fed up and tired with no interest in mechanical  objects , you made the  pick up at the exact time . do a thorough baseline service , basically check over everything , oil changes , engine and rear end , look over wiring for any faults while still running , fix and improve as you go along . grease every fitting , fresh gas and new fuel filter , good luck , pete

Yeah my first thing upon getting it going was to service the trans oil...surprisingly clean but now its new.  Got a couple quarts of VR1 for the Kohler, love the Zinc content in it.

@RED-Z06 let me understand this , you love the zinc content   ?  been a rislone zinc additive for a long time , add 4 ounces to my w/h oil changes , 2oz per qt . have it in all my small engines , 3 , tractors , walking snow blower , stand by generator , the running operational smoothness is amazing !   look it up  RISLONE HYPER LUBE ZDDP SUPPLEMENT , amazon has the best price and free shipping , pete

VR1 has really high ZDDP with a nice detergent package too, i run it in my L/C Kawasaki Twin, and older solid flat tappet engines, but i run Amsoil or Mobil 1 Full Syn in all my Command Twins...got 4 of those, i swapped my Onan to VR1 and it seems content with it

I need to find a starter generator and reg/rec for it and pull it back out...local motor shop ruined my s/g (crashed the commutator) and said it was like that already when it worked find but needed brushes and bushings...

Certainly could throw a want ad on this site in the appropriate section. If you don't find one via that method you could get a hold of Lincoln at A to Z tractor in Pennsylvania. He often keeps them in stock. There are fellows here that have connections to other rebuilding shops as well.

I want to find a setup like this.  All the brackets, guard,  reg...just swap it over and have a spare engine.  Problem is always shipping

I would like to see more on the electric lift!

Don't recall seeing many this vintage with that installed.
