Floyd Pink 44 #1 Posted December 1, 2021 1968 Wheel Horse 1 6231 Raider12. The more I work on this project I have decided it's a Johnny Cash model. '68 early and late production. I have seen 2 different diagrams for the headlight circuit. One hooks to the regulator and one hooks to the same terminal on the back of the key switch as the positive battery cable. The regulator wiring has never been touched. No wire from the light switch. The wiring from the regulator goes into the flywheel cover. I am not hooking up the cigarette lighter. I am trying to replace the 1156 bulbs with the LED version. Before I get more involved I would like the experience of the Forum to help me out identifying the right way to hook up the headlights. I'm going to guess that he has a bendix starter from the above statement. I usually pull power for my light switch from the "A" (accessories) terminal on the key switch. This eliminates the mistake of leaving the lights on after shutting the tractor off. Edited December 1, 2021 by Achto
