I used a used flange bearing just like that one to fix the steering column on a 312-8. Worked great.
peter lena 9,279 #27 Posted December 31, 2021 @Mustang67ford your bearing pictures to dash face area , is not the point of mounting , once you mount bearing on a clean smooth shaft , behind dash , you are free to find the best mount spot . easily sliding bearing and adding to the horizontal cross brace , will find your spot . done this set up on my horses , along with related , wiring , pto lever improvement and , clean up , on a number of issues. this not a perfect swap out , but it does fit and work . use your existing damaged dash face as a templet for a less damaged one . easily sliding bearing on shaft , behind dash will show you your new mount point , pete

peter lena 9,279 #30 Posted December 31, 2021 @Mustang67ford yes it does mount to the dash lip , if you need more space , use the bottom of the lip, like i said when setting this up , take advantage of what ever space you need . I also added more strength to the cross angle steel . don't have pics , always been a PIA to load and transfer . pete
